Closeout & Post-Performance : Task Order Closeout

Task Order Closeout

A completed task order is one in which all deliverables have been completed satisfactorily and according to the terms of the task order. Once a task order is completed, it can be closed out. Once all task orders covered by a single contract are completed, the contract can be closed out.

A task order is ready for closeout when the final deliverable has been submitted and is completed to the satisfaction of the contract manager (with concurrence from any task order manager) and the final invoice has been submitted.

Close out each task order as it is completed to allow for efficient management of contract issues such as planning, resources and encumbrances.
